Application
Admission Procedures
To be eligible for the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program, an applicant must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited American college or university with an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better. Applicants accepted into the program typically have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.25, achieved in a competitive academic setting.
An applicant's eligibility for the program is based on the following:
- A completed Application Form. You may submit an electronic application or download an application form (Acrobat Reader required).
- A personal statement. Please limit statements to one single-spaced page.
- Official transcripts in original sealed envelopes from all colleges and universities the student attended
- Two letters of recommendation from professors familiar with the applicant's academic work and motivation for entering the premedical sciences. Individuals who have been out of school for several years may instead submit letters from recent or current employers. If there will be a delay in obtaining letters, please notify the Admissions Coordinator.
- The applicant's scores on one of the following standardized tests: GRE, SAT, ACT, GMAT, LSAT. The scores may be self-reported on the application, but subsequent verification by a report from ETS is required if admitted into the program.
The above items should be mailed to
